Quantum certification of many-body quantum simulations
A major roadblock for large-scale quantum technologies is the lack of experimentally-friendly reliable certification tools. The ultimate challenge consists of making sure that classically intractable quantum machines work correctly. The field of many-body quantum certification aims at providing solutions to this problem by exploiting quantum resources. In this colloquium, I will first make a brief general review of basic tools for quantum-state certification and interactive certification schemes for universal quantum computation. Then, I will move to the certification of non-universal quantum simulators, where I will focus on recent results for the efficient certification of a broad family of many-body photonic quantum technologies.
Este coloquio se llevará a cabo el Jueves 8/10 a las 14hs en el Aula de Seminarios del Depto. de Física, 2do piso, Pab. 1, Ciudad Universitaria.
