The Croatian Black Hole School is a summer school in the style of the
Modave school, in which the lessons are given by non-senior people.
There will be lessons on 4 or 5 themes related to black holes, and not too
closely related to the research of the lecturers. They will be aimed at a
general theoretical physics audience, not at people who work on black
holes. Ideally each lesson will be about 6-8 hours and divided between 2
or 3 speakers. The themes and lecturers have not yet been decided, so if
you are interested in speaking, even about a theme that you currently know
nothing about, feel free to mention this when you register, and if you
like, to find a partner to divide the lecture series. Speakers are
encouraged to provide lecture notes in advance. If they are provided
sufficiently in advance, I will print and bring them.

There will be lessons from 10:30 AM – 1 PM and from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM,
although on the 21st there will only be an afternoon session. Informal
lectures may be given at midnight or later, only these may concern the
speaker’s research. The conference room is sufficiently isolated (in a
different building) that this may not disturb those wishing to sleep
