The work will be carried out in the group headed by Prof. Manfred Lein in the Institute for Theoretical Physics. The goal of this project is the theoretical precision investigation of molecules in intense circularly and elliptically polarised laser pulses using quantum-mechanical, density functional and semiclassical methods. Collaboration with the experimental groups in the Institute for Quantum Optics regarding coherent XUV generation is expected, as well as participation in teaching activities.

Requirements:
To qualify for the position, candidates must hold a PhD degree and should have experience in strong-field physics and numerical methods.
